Pricing I/O
How Pricing I/O reached the SaaS companies that needed them, by leading with something specific about each one.
The situation
Pricing I/O runs a proven pricing-strategy practice: $400M+ in ARR captured for 400+ B2B SaaS clients, a 15X average ROI, and an Inc. 5000 ranking. But almost all of that business came through inbound referrals. There was no systematic way to reach the VC- and PE-backed SaaS companies who needed their 5Q Pricing Framework but didn't already know Pricing I/O existed.
Their ICP was specific: $15M-$250M ARR, Series B+ or PE-owned, subscription businesses across vertical SaaS, cloud applications, AI products, and MarTech/SalesTech. Five distinct buyer personas from CEO down to pricing leads, each with a different reason to care.
What we built
We built a multi-channel outbound engine across SmartLead and HeyReach, with Clay running enrichment and lookalike audience development on top. Messaging was built persona-by-persona: CEO/Founder, CRO/Sales, CFO/Finance, Product/PMM, and Pricing leaders each got their own angle, since a CFO worried about revenue leakage and a CRO worried about rep discounting don't respond to the same email.
The standout play was Pricing Page GPT: an automated analysis of each prospect's own public pricing page, turned into a specific, non-generic hook. It was the best hook we ran for them, across more than 13,000 emails.
