Who we are
Astra GTM, LLC (“Astra GTM,” “we,” “us”) is a Delaware limited liability company based in Austin, Texas. We run a fractional go-to-market engineering practice for B2B companies and operate this website, astragtm.io. This policy covers the website and the other ways we deal with personal information described below.
Information we collect
Information you give us. If you book a call, we receive the name, work email, company, and any notes you enter in the scheduling form. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we receive your email address. If you email us, we keep the message and your contact details.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our analytics tools record your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location, and how you interact with the page, including clicks, scrolling, and session replays.
Business contact information from other sources. To run outreach on behalf of our clients and for our own business, we process professional contact information about people at B2B companies: name, job title, employer, work email address, work phone number, and public professional profile URL. We obtain it from commercial data providers, public professional profiles, company websites, and our clients' own CRMs. We use it only for business-to-business communication relevant to the person's role.
How we use it
To respond to inquiries and schedule calls; to deliver the newsletter you asked for; to understand and improve how the site performs; to send business-to-business outreach on our own behalf and on behalf of our clients; to maintain suppression lists so people who opt out are not contacted again; to keep our systems secure and prevent abuse; and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to measure traffic and Microsoft Clarity to measure usage and record anonymized session replays. These tools set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use a tracking-protection extension, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. Blocking them does not stop you from using the site.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for the service. These currently include Cal.com (scheduling), Beehiiv (newsletter), Google (analytics and email), Microsoft (Clarity), Vercel (website hosting), and the email, data, and CRM tools we use to run outreach. Where we run outreach for a client, that client receives the resulting replies and contact details. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as the relationship lasts and a reasonable period afterward. Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for the periods set by Google and Microsoft. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep your email address on a suppression list so we can honor that request in the future.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in the message or by replying with your request. You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, including California, Texas, other US states, the UK, and the EU, you may have additional rights, such as objecting to or restricting processing and receiving a copy of your data. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. To make a request, email rees@astragtm.io. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
Our legal bases for processing, where the law requires one, are your consent (newsletter), our legitimate interest in business-to-business outreach and in running and securing the site, and performance of a contract with you or our clients.
Security and transfers
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and vendor security controls to protect information. No system is perfectly secure. We are based in the United States, so information may be processed there and in other countries where our providers operate.
Children
The site and our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on this page.
